ANDREA RACHELLO
rented the Mill in Cendon di Silea (Treviso).

1902
His sons Carlo and Giovanni also came into the milling business, and they decided to buy the mill that had been leased by their father.

1920
Giovanni remained to run the company, together with his sons Angelo and Alfonso first, and his grandsons Andrea and Giuseppe, later.

1952
The 4th generation of the Rachello family take the helm of the Mill: Andrea and Giuseppe become the owners.

1959
The company "Ditta Rachello F.lli s.n.c di Andrea e Giuseppe Rachello" is established and the business moves to Musestre di Roncade in the heart of the Natural Park of the Sile River, the longest resurgence river in Italy.

1983
The mill has been run by Andrea and his sons Gabriele and Gianni, who launched the significant expansion of the facilities and the creation of laboratories and for bread-making experiments, constantly keeping the Company at the forefront in terms of technological and environmental innovation.

1999
The company Molino F.lli Rachello s.a.s. obtains ISO 9001 quality certification (only the second mill in the North-East of Italy to obtain it), along with certification for the milling of organic cereals; thus organic flour is added to conventional flour.

2006
Further expansion increases production capacity to over 200 tons of soft wheat milled per day, allowing us to further increase the quality of service and product range supplied to hundreds of artisan bakeries and food businesses.

2011
Installation of a 160-Kw/h photovoltaic system, which allows us to reduce our CO2 emissions.

2015
The Rachello Oasis Project is officially formalised, creating a 100%-Italian traceable supply chain through formalised standards, which also embodies our corporate vision committed to 360° sustainability, encompassing both our environmental impact and corporate social responsibility.

2016
Further expansion of the photovoltaic plant to deliver 210 Kw/h.

2018
Implementation of a Sustainability Project in collaboration with Assindustria Venetocentro based in Treviso, to further limit our environmental impact and make the entire business processes more eco sustainable.
